BLOM BANK Receives “The Best Bank in Lebanon for 2016” Award from the Internationally Renowned Magazine Euromoney

At a ceremony held on June 1, 2016 at Raffles Hotel in Dubai, gathering around 200 prominent bankers from across the region, Mr. Saad Azhari, Chairman and General Manager of BLOM BANK, received “The Best Bank in Lebanon for 2016” award from the internationally renowned magazine Euromoney.
Euromoney commented that the choice of the winning Banks was the most difficult this year due to the strong competition, which reflects the remarkable development of the financial and banking markets in the region as well as the success its banks have achieved in their different lines of business.
For his part, Mr. Azhari said that “this award demonstrates once again the success of BLOM BANK’s conservative strategy, as well as of its strategic expansion plans and innovative products, in dealing with the tough situation in Lebanon and the region and achieving thus an impressive performance in terms of growth and profitability.”
