Blom Bank Egypt S.A.E. , headquartered in Cairo – Egypt , 99.54% owned by bank of Arab Banking Corporation ABC , Bahraini shareholding company headquartered in Manama – Bahrain .

In August 2021 , ABC has performed the acquisition of Blom Bank Egypt , after the purchase of the entire share of BLOM bank S.A.L. – headquartered in Beirut -Lebanon.

ABC bank was established in 1980, and its main shareholders are the Central Bank of Libya by 59.36% of shares, and the Kuwait Investment Authority by 29.68% of shares.
